zipp tubular disc purchase question
my friend is looking to pick up a zipp disc tubular 650. she asked me a few questions that i don't know the answer to as i use clinchers only.

1) do they make tubular tires with latex tubes in 650?

2) say she flats in a race, can she use one of those vittorria co2/flat repair bottles the same way someone with a 700c wheel can?

i figured 1) was no, 2) was yes.

but wanted to make sure before she dropped 600 on it (it is a 2013 with 56 total miles on it), good deal, right? comes with tubular tired glued on, that has 56 miles on it.

49 views and not a single person knows the answer to this question?

my friend asked her bike mech and he didn't know either... (which is kinda scary, imo)

I'll chime in. I think the only latex tubs you will be able to find in 650 currently will be some NOS Vittoria Corsa CX from eBay

Great tires in the 700 version, so can't be all that bad in 650. If it were me I'd get a clincher disk, more options tire wise. And for what's is worth I run all tubulars.

1) Yes - Vittoria and Veloflex. More options when going with tires with butyl tubes.
