Do you have any spacers between the pads and the base bar?
I built a 3d printable design (I print in steel) that can tilt bars on an IA.
Id have to check at home if I have a 5 degree... I definitely have a 7.5 degree wedge designed.
( the design is basically a wedge between the bar and pads, and then another wedge ontop of the pads so the screw has a flat surface to clamp against

I have roughly 5 degree tilt on my Bayonet bars. I just rotated the mount to the handlebars and presto tilted up.

Do you mind linking the design? I've contemplated doing this but just havent gotten around to it.
How has the steel print held up? Did you paint it to prevent corrosion?

I had to washer up. Used small washers on front bolt
shapeways has a matte black stainless Im using that.
Last year I did an aluminum set , but found the top piece too soft .
You can check here...

2 of the "riser" pieces, and 1 top left, and 1 top right of the same degree will work.
