Ear pieces-- Really!!!

Fantastic to watch the USAT Para Tri Championships today at the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - some wonderful athletes there.

The race was short a couple of marshals - especially returning on the bike - so I became a bike marshal - the course had a very sharp turn just before the dismount line that had a huge drainage grate - so I was shouting at every rider to slow down and swing wide-- a racer came hammering in - I shouted and she took our her ear pieces, and with quizzical expression, she shouted back, " What did you say?"... QED!!!..

Should have played kickball instead. Then 2nd base would have been a keg.

I don't know if it was officially allowed or not, but when I was playing Ultimate, we occasionally shared a field with the Kickball league and they always had a keg at second base. It might just be a Vegas thing.
