There are 1000 slots available the day after Challenge Roth. Does anyone know if these are open only to race finishers, or are open to the public? Has anyone gotten in the race this way and knows the logistic, like how long before they open you have to get in line to have a chance? My wife and I have done this race three times, but are only going to spectate this year.

Race entrants and volunteers.
You need a bracelet to get in the tent.

I believe entrants and volunteers only, but they just get a code for entry, which can be transferred.
So if you find someone who is willing to queue for you, they can get you a start.

I'm not sure if they open it to anybody interested. I did the race last year went to the tent/registration area the next day & they asked me if I wanted to register for next year & gave me a number. It was around noon, barely anybody was in line to register & I got around 850.
