activated charcoal during race for upset stomach?

I've used activated charcoal on occasion to assist with GI issues or upset stomach. For upset stomach it normally works really fast. Has anybody here ever used it in a race? I have to deal with some GI issues both everyday life and racing. Not terrible compared to some but I have a pretty sensitive stomach. I'm just curious if there would be any downside to taking activated charcoal during a race if I had issues.
