Who's the douche canoe that was training on the tollway this morning? You read that right. This morning there was a DC in aero, head down, heading south towards Houston on the tollway. Average speed of morning cars? Around 80 mph! Some areas have no shoulder. That should be fun.

The first thing I thought when the new bike course was announced was, how many idiots will try to ride it before the race.
2x Deca-Ironman World Cup (10 Ironmans in 10 days), 2x Quintuple Ironman World Cup (5 Ironmans in 5 days), Ultraman, Ultra Marathoner, and I once did an Ironman.
Doesn't surprise me at all.
The number of folks that insisted on riding the first 6 miles or so of the old course on Woodlands Parkway when there's absolutely no shoulder or safe way to ride never failed to amaze me. This was done even though there was a perfectly safe route that paralleled that part of the course 2 blocks to the north.
I always knew when the non-Woodlands idiot triathletes were in town.
LOL, April 22nd will be my first go around on that course!
