The real Iron Bike count

The future of triathlon - IronKids - raced today at the National Training Center in Clermont, Florida. Athletes from all over the United States competed (most were from central Florida)

You can go to www.ironkids.com for the results of the race, but the real story is the Official Bike Count!

As the athletes checked in this morning, we placed our best bike course volunteers at the transition to do the bike count.

A big thanks to Kim Grogan, the transition coordinator, for allowing us to do the bike count. We also want to thank Andre Lapar (Swim Course coordinator) and Koren Kuna (Run Course Coordinator) for helping out.

PS - A big thanks to our vounteers who helped with the race - the NTC Swim Team, coached by Alec Rukosuev and also athletes training at the NTC - Nina, Sven and Sara.

We missed the start! Got to the Northridge hill and had to turn around. I was pushing 400 watts at that point up the hill! Kimberly said the race was awesome though..Great Job Z.!

No helmet - we were on "the path"
