A couple years ago I was watching the ironmanlive.com webcast to see my friend finish and this dude with one leg comes bouncing over the line carrying his prostethic leg over his head in triumph. Then my friend, with two good legs, crossed a few seconds later.
I found out that the one-legged guy, Paul Martin, wrote a book about his life, called One Man's Leg. I was wondering if anyone here had read it and whether they recommend it. I don't like books that aren't well written and compelling reading. Here's the link:
