You know Lon Haldeman? What about Ted Epstien? Lon is from Sharron Wi (right by me) and owns PAC tours...Ted is from Denver...both are RAAM guys...Ted likes to do Deca IronMan stuff...both are cacacacaCaraaaaaaaZeeeee

Lon won RAAM a number of times...a decade or so ago...nice guy, he is one of the guys who got me away from BMX and on to road racing.

which RAAM record did Joe hold? Must be one of the team records because Pete Penseyres has held and still holds the solo record. Something ridiculous like 15.5mph average that he set 20 years ago. The guy can still crank it out too.

Yeah, Joe is truly a freak of nature. He's one of those guys with legs like 5-feet long!!!! It always blows my mind to see the way his litespeed flexes when he rides by. All he knows is a 63x11... sheesh..

i'm 99% sure that this is the guy that brought rollers to the bakersfield sprint triathlon and then hammered on them for a half hour before the start.

it was one of the funniest things i've seen.

Do know if he raced Malibu? I know there was a relay cyclist who was wearing a CA TT Champion kit, and the guy was friggin' flying. He was a bigger guy, too, so I wonder if it was the same dude.
