I want to try incorporating smoothies into my training diet. Any suggestions on recipes? What are your favorites?

Gracias, amigos de ST.

Pineapple juice, bananas, frozen strawberries and either vanilla frozen yogurt or vanilla protein powder.

Costco sells a bag of frozen mixed berries-rasberry, blueberry and marionberry. I mix those with a carton of yogurt and some soy milk. A good dose of protein and antioxidents.

My new personal favorite! 12 oz water, 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder, 1 cup of blueberries and a tablespoon of almond butter! I also add ice so it's super cold!!

I'll run my own experiments eventually, but do y'all use frozen fruit more than raw?

The nice thing about frozen is that it acts as its own ice cubes and your can get a good variety of fruit all year round.

I usually only use fresh fruit, but I'm sure frozen would work just fine!
