I hate these type of articles

Not that I think the sport of Triathlon will ever get the press coverage of the Bears in this town (Chicago), but when our sport does get some attention - it would be nice if the coverage actually had something to do our sport.

This weekend is the 23rd running of the Chicago Triathlon - the so called largest race in the world. It would be nice if the press could write something of substance on the race, or the sport, or the Pro's - something.

The even got the swim location wrong. Montrose Harbor? That would make for one long swim - or the longest swim to run transition in history.

I think it's actually a nice human-interest story. As a positive, it talks about triathlon and even has a sidebar about the pretty boring details of the race.

Personally, what bothers me are people that can't spell "articles."
