I was riding yesterday on Route 9W between Alpine, NJ and Palisades, NY and saw ther aftermath of what looked like a really terrible bike accident at about 11:30 or 12 o clock. Looked like the cyclist/triathlete was in really bad shape. I was wondering if anybody saw that accident and knows if the cyclist was ok. It looked really bad and there were quite a few ambulances and police officer on scene.

We avoided 9W yesterday and took a different route so we didn't see it. You may want to post on TANYC and/or NYCC to inquire. I hope they're OK.
