syntace : c2 vs. sl
which would you choose and why?

I've decided to replace my carbon strykes because of reasons Tom gave on his site - that is , I can get a size that fits me,

and also, because I won't need any stupid shims for my 26.0 base bar.

based on price and features those 2 seem to be my choice

C2's are lighter and super comfortable - the most comfortable bar I've ever ridden and I've ridden them all

I like the ergonomic friendliness of the C-2s. It allows multiple hand positions for me unlike the SLs which I once had on a 2000 QR Tequilo. I am surprised you don't like the Carbon Strykes anymore. I do favor the length adjustability of Profile aerobars but do currently have C-2s on my Tiphoon and Visiontech on my Lucero. I am looking forward to try out the new Profile Design T-2 aerobars.

I hate the shims. they are dangerous. the whole oversized bar thing is stupid. what's the point of it anyway. syntace has the best way of dealing with it.

it'd hard to tell from what I've read but do the visions and hed bars come with totally different sized clamps for 26 vs. 31.8? no shims?

hard to tell. if so I 'll consider them also.
