I was just wondering what the general opinion of the IMC lottery is. I know that there are some who think that there shouldn't be a lottery for Kona, but it seems to me that the IMC lottery is a different sort of beast. I can't make it up to BC to register in person, so I was thinking about putting my name in the hat.

Also, does anyone know the odds of getting in through the lottery? The list of 2005 winners looks fairly long, but I don't know how many people enter.
