How hard to change a brake cable on P2K?
My rear brake feels very stiff and the lever doesn't really return anymore on my P2K...I'm thinking a need a new cable and housing. How hard is this to do on your own? Do you need special tools? Is it difficult with the internal cable routing on the P2K (a 2003 model)?

What I use
  • Hozan Cable Cutter (Park is trash)
  • 8" wheel grinder
  • 5mm allen wrench

It is SUPER easy. Cut the cable to lenght (often the OEM cable is to long). I grind the housing flat with the grinder and make sure there are no burrs. Install the cable follwing the directions on Parks site.

Thanks dude....in the interim before I can get to this, what about trying to spray some lube into the housing?

almost promise it wont help...you need to take the cable out of the houseing all the way, check it for kinks, grease it and put it back in - with out fraying it. Just buy a new cable.
