according to french media he wasn't punched as Roger Legeay said (known for grossly exagerating stuff)...some people were manifesting and he went close to one of them that had a big cardbox sign and hit his face in it. the thing was hard enough to hurt him....

It was on the tv and it looked like he had a thunderstick and was turning to follow one rider and the next rider ran into his fist. Phil and Paul said he hit the balloon but I think he ran into the fist, hence the bloody nose. It was not deliberate.
