Just ordered the Felt VR aero bottle. Paid only 39$ including shipping to Belgium. The same VR should cost me 70$ on the site of Felt Stuff

Bargain, thanks for the coupon! :)

Is it normal that the bottle is so unhandy? :D

You have to take of the cap to drink but when you're cycling you have to hold the cap, the bottle and the steer AND drive? Wtf, what's the practically of it? If the cap was attached to the bottle, hmm, okay, it would work but the chance of losing the cap is much bigger.

Stancke,

I'm sorry but I really don't understand what you are saying. The Vr unit has a bite valve spout. You do not have to remove it. Just bite and squeeze and you will get a high volume of fluid.

Hans is right with the bite valve but for me it was still not very handy, not enough water flow and a pain to clean through the small opening, which let me only water as an option there. Decided to take it as flat kit storage after some try though.

I've used the Torhans VR bottle for the last couple years and I've been putting all of my liquid nutrition in it.

The one for the DA should be a good fit for the AR

Tried it out, didn't fit my AR. I'm a little guy so it's a 51cm and the lower triangle just doesn't have the clearance.
Oh well, sending it back. Seems like a good product though if the geometry would work.

Does anyone have an experience using this hydration system exclusively as nutrition storage? Thoughts?

What's it like getting into the bottle and retrieving bars/gels/etc?

What year is your B10? 2012 and after use the Felt specific. Before that use the TH Vr.

B10 was 2011 only, i have the felt specific one which only works with washers for good fit. I would go with the regular one.

Sorry if I missed it above but Ted are you using the Felt or regular mount for the VR on that IA? I've got a IA and an AR and I've purchased a regular VR. I've yet to mount either yet (winter in Canada) but if it makes more sense I'll order the Felt Mount. Thanks for your help!

For the IA I have only seen with our Vr. The Felt Vr works well on most frames but was specifically designed for 52-58cm Felt DAs, and B series 2013 and later.

Hi Ted, please could you advise if (and how snuggly) the VR would fit on a BMC TM01 (2016 model)?

Thank you in advance!
