Well I have a set of zipp tubulars in which my relatively new tire got a small gash likely from an unseen piece of glass. My question is whether there is anyway to repair this? The cut didn't go through to the tube and when its properly inflated the tube does not bulge through at all...but I would think that with a cut in the tread that it would make it much more susceptible to a flat in the future.
Is there a way to repair this possibly with some rubber cement or super glue or is it just better to trash the tire and get a new one? Considering a replacement would be about $60 and the tire is virtually new it would be a shame.
