Katy! I am not that pale.

Ok perhaps I am that pale, but that's not nice to say (I am a little sensitive about it).
You don't see me making fun of your newly purple hair, now do you?

That was not necessary.

My husband solves this problem so easily. When ever I ask him to do something in the house or yard he says, "I don't want to do it. Hire someone to do it." Manuel, the trusty handy man, does all these things for me. Granted there are small things I wish he would do that I am not going to pay someone for, but I do them myself. My husband spends tons of time doing hands on things with our children so I cut him slack on the small household things. Sometimes writing a check is worth it for marital harmony. I also don't work outside our home, so I am not over burdened like many women who do the bulk of household tasks and also hold down a full time job. When both parties are holding down full time jobs, more shared tasks are necessary.
