Hello from Jon and Aubrey Hastings,
I hope this email finds you all well and your races moving along smoothly.
As we get closer to Memorial Day, we also get closer to The 2nd Annual
Corbin Hastings Memorial Day 100 bike ride. Aubrey and I ask (as long as you
don't have a conflict with any of your events) that you help us get the
word out to your events team and possibly make an announcement at any events
you have coming up before Memorial Day.
It's been about a year and a half since we lost Corbin to SIDS and it hasn't
been easy. I can easily say however, that it would be and would have been
much harder without the support that we have received from all of our friends
in the multisport community.
We had a great turn out last year with riders from every multisport/bike team
and multisport group in central Ohio coming out for a great ride.
Everyone came together and really showed awesome support for Aubrey and myself
in honoring Corbin by raising funds for SIDS research and awareness.
Many people who were not able to participate in the ride, still wanted to show
their support, and sent in their 'drafting fee' as we called it last year.

Last year Corbin's ride raised just over $2000 and 100% of every penny that
was donated by participants went to the charity, The National SIDS =0D
institute. This year the donations are going to SIDS Network of Ohio which
provides not only SIDS research funding but also runs many SIDS education
and prevention programs throughout Ohio. We decided to change to this charity
because it provides support and SIDS awareness to all the new moms
in Ohio as well as provides support to those Ohio parents who have lost the
ir babies to SIDS.

This year FatRabbit Racing has offered to provide support for Corbin's Ride
. They have not taken the event over as one of their events but rather are
volunteering the structure and support that they can provide as an events
company. 100% of all 'entry fees' are still going directly to the charity,
SIDS Network Of Ohio, as Aubrey and I have requested. Please come out and
join us for Corbin's Ride Memorial Day morning for a 50=
or 100mile bike or just stop by to show your support. If you can't make it
please help us get the word out so that we may have a bigger showing this year.

People can find the details at the fatrabbitracing website under cycling events.
People can register on line and Aubrey will also be available in
the morning for day of sign up as well.
Please forward this on to anyone you think may be interested and help get the word
out to your training partners as well.
Feel free to call me at home with any questions. (614) 539.8260

Thanks,
Jonathan Hastings
