i read in tom d's editorial on his website that the 101 series isn't short enough to race it, but not long enough to survive it. quote: "It is the longest distance we can really “race” with any level of competition amongst ourselves. If we’re honest, hardly any of us “race” Ironman, we simply survive it the best we can. " so, is the 101 seires kinda like the 800 in track running?
