Well, after over a year of trying to do any triathlon I could sign up for and perpetually being deterred by work or some family emergency, I finally did it! I completed my first Tri today! I swam 650m in ROUGH sea; a last minute change by admin, down from 1km due to lifeguards in kayaks not able to stay in place due to the currents. Then we rode 27.5km by doing 5 laps of a course that had a 100ft elevation change from the bottom to the top. Then we ran a 5k. I finished with a time of 1h 37m 11s. And I even wore green!
