Jaja did 2h45'52 in Barcelona marathon on Saturday 3rd of March. He is getting ready and should be watched at IM Zurich. Will he qualify?

Question: he can ride, he can run, but can he swim?
I certainly would not want to be in his age-group at any IM Kona qualifier!
Allez Jaja, I am a big fan of yours, and not solely because we both come from the same small hometown in France: Mazamet!
You are the Man.

Even if he swims 1:10+, with his biking ability and running speed, I think he will be a very strong IM racer, provided that he is trained properly.

He was on Stade 2 sunday...Holtz told him the cameras would be on him on the bike and the run and being his usual self, he answered, 'I would have to make it out of the water first'

Typical. That's what makes him such a nice guy.

Francois, Stade 2? Are you back in the land of freedom (in opposition of the land of the free)?

Is he racing as an AGer or as a Pro??

As an AGer he should have no problem qualifying. He can come out of the water at 1:15, have an "easy" 5:00 ride and then cruise with a 3:30 and be sub 10. That's pretty much a cinch there for him.

I have to say I am quite impressed and truly shows Jalabert talent!!!

Cheers,
Fred.

I stayed the night in Mazamet once when I was riding through France. What a nice town. I need to find a job somewhere that has riding like that in the vicinity.

I've got five clubmates doing Swizterland and they're all real excited because being all 1H swimmers they know they are going to see JaJa pass them on the bike.
