Does this happen to anyone else... you travel (either car or plane) and then cramp up with massive charley-horse-like cramps upon trying to workout again? I always wear compression socks when I travel, but have had significant issues with cramps - particularly in my quads.
Most recently, I drove out to Tucson. Drank water and nuun the whole way there yet still got crippling quad cramps upon arriving and working out in Tucson. I returned Monday night and went for my first run tonight - and cramped up 10 minutes into the run - forcing me to limp home. I've been eating, drinking normally since I got home.
Anyone experience this? Tips?
