I was having an offline chat with one of my cycle teammates yesterday about the use of Xentis wheels. I know they test like crap in the wind tunnel but take a look at the German attachment and see what you think. You may have seen his before and it's a 2005 study but also look at the rider positioning diagram as well. More debate !!!!!

I think Tour magazine tested a lot of wheels last year and the Mark 1's didn't do too well (I'm not sure but didn't the drag increase with an increase in yaw). I think I have the issue at home so I could look if you like..


It will be interesting to see how the Mark 1 TT wheels test.

Thus far anedotally I'm hearing the TT versions do badly with a constant yaw in a wind tunnel but in the real world are very light and very very fast. I may see if i can borrow some to test.
