Heel height?
I wear shoes of all sorts, but I have three main types:

1) No shoes/slippers/sandals

2) Running shoes

3) Heeled shoes

Each has a different heel height, and I notice that I sometimes get pain in the back of my heel if I go from wearing heeled shoes for an extended period and then spend a day in slippers.

My basic question is: am I screwing up my muscle and/or tendon length or flexibility by changing shoe heel styles?

If so, what is to be done?

I'm talking man heels here, not crazy hooch heels - 1 inch tops.

Men don't get lots of options, which generally makes life easier. But, occationally, it makes it harder.

I'm no dr., but it seems that the difference in the heel height of a standard men's dress shoe, a running shoe and a sandal would have a very small chance of causing injury. You're talking at most maybe 15-20 mm between all three?
