Most def. not. Target bag, Nashbar pump, dirt fighter stuff. An obvious tempt to mislead with the Dutch shoe. Irondad's family is Dutch and he is a cycling freak/fan so he is a suspect.

I posted a picture of my centurion here when I first got my digital camera last year, same model and color. I got comments such as "really ugly bike". I rode mine on my wind trainer this morning, and still ride it outside a few times a year. Bought it in 1987. Big ring is biopace, wore out the small one, and couldn't fine a biopace to replace it with. Complete bikes come up on eBay from time to time.

Wow talk about a blast from the past. Centurion Dave Scot Ironman was my first road bike that i purchased in 1989 when I was in the 9th grade. That bike was what got me in cycling. I remember that i wanted an aluminum road bike but can only afford the Centurion because it was a floor model close out special. the bike came with Shimano 600 and it was a straight block 7 speed (I think (11-17t) I had a hard time doing hills until I change the cassette ratio. Man those were the good old day when riding was just "riding" now everything kinda got outta hand, it's carbon this, aero that...

here is one on ebay

Man... you guys are observant... but that's one of those touristy wooden shoes and I have only real ones ;-)

He said something like "derivation of the Netherlands" so I'm going to guess in Holland, Michigan?

I have bikes all over the place, my St Louis bike is a mid 80's Specialized Epic with the old white Shimano 7 speed groupo and 7 pound white seat.
I get on a kick every once in a while and bid on some old 7 speed ZIPP wheels or try to get a new drive train for the old girl but this never works out.
She is still in her OEM drive train with 7 speed down tube shifters and she will race at least one sprint this year like that.

How about this...I totally forgot, but this is from the same owner...He has picked up TWO of these in the past year. This one may be closer to being "original" than the other. Sharper images to follow...
