Totally. Although I'd still be concerned about locking a Veloce bike anywhere. What you've got planned now is a nice road/race bike and a winter bike. If you plan on riding to masters or anything like that, I still say you need a rat.


And that's not even entering the realm of tri geometry for a race bike... :)

bah, I used to lock my Olmo at Kits pool all the time. Trick is to hide it under some really shitty looking mountain bike ;-)

As for tri geometry, nah, my Olmo with a shorty stem and the seat slid a bit forward was more than fine for IMWA.

Hey, it's your bike - do with it what you will. I'd just hate to see your Olmo get jacked. I prefer to use "ski rack theory" which dictates that one should always park next to the nicest set of planks on the rack - thus making your own look less desirable. :)
