I finally got a Silverman team together.
I will be doing the swim.

Hernan Dario doing the bike.

Mike Booth doing the run.

...in case anyone was wondering. I'm pretty excited to head out there for this race. It should be a good time, especially as I have the easy leg and then get to watch the rest of the race.

I am getting there Wednesday night. I think the rest of my team is arriving Thursday.

I got a reservation at the Hawthorne Suites on Boulder Hwy. There are not many rooms still available out there it appears, so I think this was one of last places available.

The Bellagio is pretty nice, right? Is the after party at your place?

I am at the Luxor. I think we need a pre/post race poker showdown of all the ST folks. I think Bjorn was talking some smack about his poker abilities a while back. ;)

Anyone have any idea where can you find a list of the teams? The participant list on the website won't download.

We hope so! We have some pretty cool inside tech that HED is sharing with us that they used on Lance and Discovery, so that should give us an edge in wheel and equipment choices!!

I'm totally in for some poker. Maybe we can get a nice game of hold'em together. $5 or $500 buy in, I'm game........I'll be camping at the lake, so I haven't a room to hold it, but someone out there must have a nice suite............

Jason, what does Bjorn think is possible for a time on the bike course? Sub 4:40?

He realistically thinks a 4:40-4:45 is possible- which means that you need a 45 min swim and a 2:25 marathon to go under that 8hr mark.

Markus,

Maybe you can sit with me at the nickel ante table. I suck at poker. The only games I will play for real money are blackjack and acey ducey.
