Lightspeeds are so awesome...wish I could afford one.

Can they ever wear out? All you would have to do is rebuild it.

I did, and I suddendly got real slow. Could be the fact that I didn't ride much this last year, but I am pretty sure it's the bike :).

I really like my Blade, but only because I got a great deal on it. I would stick with the Cervelo. The Blade is just way to expensive. P2SL + Ergomo + race wheels is probably less than a Blade frameset :(. That, and it is slower than the Cervelo :).

how come you sold it? will they allow you to stay on ST once you go back to the dark side?

Hey Cerveloguy

I think that you need to look for something that is not ST approved like a "lemming" Cervelo that will be hard to find in transition because there are so many of them. Go for the new Felt with the funky front-end or a Blue with that strange seatpost that caused a commotion with the "worst of interbike" thread. Since you love to play around with bike fitting I can say nothing but good things about that halo seatpost :)

Do you like Corvettes? If so, keep the Cervelo.
Do you like Porsches? If so, get the Litespeed.

have a look at the new Saber - smokin' hot, but see it in person - pictures just don't do it justice.

Had a cervelo P2K for 6 months and got rid of the bad boy.

It's taken 10 years of drooling to get to this point but I now have a Litespeed Saber and Siena.

That Saber is easily the best Tri bike I've ever ridden.

Go with the Litespeed.

Dream on... but even if the plastic poseur did, who cares? It's a cheap piece of mass-produced plastic crap compared to the handmade Porsche... sorta like comparing the Cervelo to Litespeed ;-)

if you think corvettes are plastic, and porsche's are all hand made i'm not even gonna bother.

I'm actually now a cervelolessguy. I don't have a tri bike at all. Going to Australia in November is a bigger priority so I won't worry about it during the off season.

I'll probably buy something secondhand, but then might consider a new Blue if Speedy has a good deal!

The last hand made vehicle Porsche made was the 356. I owned two of them, a 1960 356B Cabriolet and a 1961 356B coupe. Owned both of them in the 80's when they were just considered old cars. Regret selling them because 356's command a big buck today.

The only Porsches I ever wanted are the classic 356's or early model 911's.

No car is completely hand-made anymore, but if you've been to either Zuffenhousen or Bowling Green then you'd know that nothing in Bowling Green is done by hand, whereas a lot at Zuffenhousen is...

"CLAIMED" top speed... funny how no tester has managed it though... whereas the Porsche will do 193 all day long ;-)

Say it isn't so!!!
No more IronZ06!! Dang, that was a sweet car. At least you are keeping your blade. Hope you enjoy your viper. Hope you find a good one. Sometimes I feel like it's hard to find a good condition viper that wasn't abused (not that i've been in the market ;)
