Gameface was a little-known pop-punk band from the 90's/early 00's. IMO they brought this song to life.

About halfway through on OMG this is so wonderfully creepy!!! I can't tell if we're dealing with vampires, ghouls, some pre-Colombian MesoAmerican demons, Mexican voodoo, or some combination of all

Also, Random House has provided an exquisite playlist "this author-curated playlist will transport you to the terrifying yet seductive world of High Place."

Linda Ronstadt did so many covers that she inspired VH to cover "You're No Good"

"Linda Ronstadt’s doing all these other people’s tunes so we figured we’d do a Linda. Which is about as close as any of us will ever get to doing Linda!"

Keeping with your Springsteen theme: legit as good or better than the original, but credit to Bruce for creating this beauty.

It's not better.

I think there's some sort of physiological or psychological change that happens when people have kids that makes them incorrectly perceive things done by children as somehow better or cuter. It's generally not the case.

Sorry.

I think I might have posted it somewhere way back in this thread, but this cover of The Band's treatment of Springsteen's original is pretty good too:

Not sure if this is better, but it's pretty awesome.

If you liked that, you might also like this one, of a very young Billy Strings. No fancy stage ...

Not saying this is better than the original Seals and Croft "Summer Breeze", but it's certainly different and interesting. Funky jazz version.

I would argue that in general it is cuter, but rarely better. Like the Tool song ThisIsIt posted. The kids are very talented and do a great job with the song, but it's not better than the original.
