WTB Powertap (or other cheaper power meter)
A friend of mine wants to get a power meter but is on a limited budget. Anyone have a powertap wheel or something that they'd like to get rid of? 10 speed Shimano is what he is looking for. If you have some type of watch or head unit for it too, that would be a bonus. I need to try to come up with everything for $300 or less, if such a thing is possible. Thanks.

I saw that new Powertap C1 units were $350. That's a pretty sweet deal!

I have a wireless Powertap SL+ as follows:

  • Aluminum Easton Vista Wheel (looks like a 24mm rim, seen better days but still true).
  • 10 speed ultegra 11-28 cassette (pretty new)
  • Continental 23mm 4000S2
  • Cyclops (powertap) Joule computer (may need a new rechargeable battery soon)
  • USB charger cord
  • Bar mount
  • 20 (approx) Energizer 357 batteries (the hub takes 2)
  • 2 hub cap removers

$300 for everything. I'll pay for slow postage, if you need it sooner you pay.
