I don't know if you should be slapped or pitied. You list Wall of Voodoo and Social Distortion along with the Disney plastic dead LA too fat for their look Fall Out Boy? Fall Out Boy? Death to plastic LA rock. May it burn in hell.

From the soundtrack to "The Jerky Boys," Tom Jones does justice to Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way."

Oh! This one just came over my iPod: "El Paso," the Marty Robbins tune reworked by the Old 97s. Awesome stuff.

Little Wing: Hendrix covered by Derek and the Dominoes covered by SRV

Clapton covered it too, but his version was lame compared to Jimi's.

Stevie Ray's cover IMO is the best of the lot but Jimi's shines brightly as well.

"Let's Stick Together"- originally done by Wilbert Harrison, later covered by Canned Heat and again by Brian Ferry. But my favorite cover is by KT Tunstall on a BBC Radio 1 compilation. It kicks ass!
