Hi

I took part in the London Marathon on Sunday and what an event it was, such a great day and lovely to see so many people out running and supporting. I love how us as athletes come together in an event and encourage each other to succeed in our goals.

Wow, that is a fantastic time. I thought that is what you said in the vlog, but you preceded it by saying you were hoping to beat 4 hours, so it confused me a bit. I didn't know you were such a fast runner. Congrats.

Thank you, I hadn't done any marathon training because I wanted to keep my speed for triathlon season. Last year I did 2:55 but properly trained for it and then suffered in my first standard distance tri, this year I was just going to jog it and soak up the atmosphere but a friend needed me to pace him as he is going through a tough time personally.
