So the IOC is looking for a way to launder money through poker now? Is that it? I'm actually sort of, but not really, serious. Given the IOC's past history of corruption it wouldn't surprise me.
Vitus posted a link a while ago saying the IOC was considering some form of video game as part of a demonstration sport. Not sure what "sport" it was but I thought it was under the term "gaming". It's not poker or gambling but that would fit right in with the IOC. Considering there are not many countries bidding to host games anymore, they have to find alternative funding for the executives to pocket.
It's not fair that the executives of the IOC were able to pocket so much from the prior games and now they can't.
I would expect them to start marching and threatening to resign any day now.
We can always hope that they will. They all need new jobs, cement shoed underwater aquatic life observer seems like a suitable job title for IOC gangsters.
