Re: Endless Pools and Garmin Question [endlesspools]

Hello from Endless Pools!

We now have an app called Fit@Home that allows you to create and save interval workouts. Unless your pool is brand new, you'll need to contact our Customer Service team to discuss adapting your pool's control panel with our new WiFi card so it's compatible with the Fit@Home app.

You can reach us at 800-910-2714.

Thanks for asking!

The fit@home app (that controls the current) principle is great, and has a lot of potential, but the app is not very 'userfriendly' (to put it mildly). Programming a interval session is not really possible. Some examples that (in my view) really should be improved to cover the basics:
  1. Only 20 intervals are supported, and rest is counted as a separate interval, so that's only 10 intervals. That maybe covers the warming up, but not a serious workout;
  2. No option to group a set of intervals, so 5x50's (10 sec rest) counts as 10 intervals;
  3. No connectivity to other apps such as training peaks or garmin connect;
  4. missing the abilty to upload structured workout from other apps (programming a serious training in the fit@home app - if possible - takes a while);
  5. etc

given the price of the machine the app is under par. It has potential to be great, but now for me it is quite disappointing. the last update in the google play store is from 2018. Are the any plans on updating the app? In the endless pool community this is a much requested update.

looking forward to hearing from You.
