Although I believe there are other civilizations in the universe. It’s hard to believe any sightings are actually an Alien UFO.

The technology to travel those distances is so advanced that it would be hard pressed for them to make it all the way here in a ship have, us not notice it entering our atmosphere and but then show itself randomly for a few seconds and then be gone.

Maybe they’re just messing with us, but I’m
Pretty skeptical on the actual visits here.

Agree with all of this.

That F-18 video is certainly interesting, but if these are aliens, why are they allowing themselves to be noticed with all that crazy-ass maneuvering out over the quiet uninteresting dead space off over the ocean?

Why not show off / get caught over something that's actually interesting for them to study, like a big populated area?

The combination of an unknown aerospace vehicle performing in an unprecedented manner in airspace that otherwise gets little/no attention all reeks of a secret DoD project, not aliens.

Well, I finally got around to reading this thread. What I find interesting is that everyone responding seems to be either accepting of the events as described, or at least open-minded enough to consider them possible. I didn't read any 'nope, fake' or 'swamp gas' or 'sorry don't believe it' or similar dismissive responses. Does this imply that we, perhaps as a society, are becoming more amenable to the idea of alien life forms actually visiting Earth?

It seems likely to me that other life forms exist in the universe. As for UFOs visiting Earth, up until this last weekend, my attitude has been "Yeah, right. Show me proof."

On his October 5 podcast, Joe Rogan talked to Commander Fravor - one of the F-18 pilots who observed the 2004 'Tic Toc' object. Fascinating. (Jeremy Corbell was also on the podcast, which IMO was a mistake, since he sounded like a loon.) His story seemed credible, was witnessed by other F-18 aircrews on scene, and has since been confirmed by the Navy. Not quite as compelling as having a ship parked over your city (eg District 9), but strong none the less.

Anyone else listen to the Rogan podcast? What did you think?

I don't think we are becoming more open minded or more amenable to Aliens visiting us, it's a case of the two(?) "tic tac" sightings were confirmed by multiple credible sources (Navy pilots) as well as the Government, plus obviously the radar and thermal imagery. Typically a UFI sighting is reported by some drunk farmer in bum Fuck Idaho.

So what are they and where do they come from? I'm naturally sceptical and have doubted the existence of UFOs and alien life form, there just hasn't been any credible witnesses, information, footage etc until now. I'm inclined to believe they are something man has created, but the speed and gravity defying way in which they moved just seems beyond anything we could create. Why would a country with this technology spend billions on other technology that would seem archaic in comparison? And if it has been developed by us, the technology has been kept secret, why then operate in full view of the US Navy? It's either secret or it isn't?

The only thing I can think of is that it's some kind of unmanned drone, implemented as part of the naval exercise and kept quiet from the Naval commanders. Or a virtual vehicle that appeared as something physical on radar and to the pilots, but was in fact a virtual image. And was being used as part of the exercise to test the radar operators, pilots etc

Getting far fetched here, but look at the technological advances we've made in 100 years. 100 years ago if you wanted to travel from England to Australia it would take you 12 weeks in a ship. Now we are on the cusp of being able to fly there in 2 - 3 hours. Imagine 200 years from now, god knows what we will be doing and what the technology would be. Time travel seems pretty out there, but what if those Tic Tac UFOS are us from the future? Time travel (AFAIK) is possible in theory, we just don't have the ability at this moment in time.
