Everybody - just thinking about you.
Please be safe out there on the roads. We had another local cyclist get hit by a car today. In fact, we were out on a ride Thursday near the same road and a big black truck came barreling by trying to show us how we’re not supposed to be on the road. Almost hit another car trying to show us how disgusted he was with us.
Just another thought please - when you are with family and friends this holiday please let them know that it is against the law in many areas to ride bikes on sidewalks. That we are to ride in the streets and obey laws just like everyone else. That we are “our motors” and many times we are tired. We are trying to do something pleasurable and healthy and we appreciate that motorist must take an additional 15 seconds out of their busy lives to accommodate us.
I'm just so tired of this crap - I'm beside myself.
