I enjoyed this more than either of the Steelers SB victories. It was just an amazing sports story from the outset, coming out of nowhere to lead the league, only to lose Wentz and ostensibly all hope for the season, then to have it rescued in ridiculous fashion by their old QB (and all around good dude) on the verge of early retirement, beating the greatest of all time QB-coach tandem. I mean, it was just bonkers. And the way they beat them--the only way they could beat them--balls to the wall from whistle to whistle. No fear, no hesitation, never letting off the throttle.
Imagine how different it would have been had they knocked off Bortles and the Jaguars. Great, but not epic. This was epic. Couldn't be happier for my long-suffering Eagles fan friends and family.
