I raced Zell am See last weekend and was so impressed with every aspect of the race. I woke up sick race morning, so that didn't help, but the professionalism of the RD and staff was above and beyond anything I had experienced before. From the meeting, to registration, to gear check/ bike racking, to bike pick up (even in the midst of a storm), and obviously to the most beautiful course I've ever raced on - everything was top notch. What an awesome, small thing that so many people would love to see after every race. Patrick Schörkmayer, the RD, is a very young guy, but he clearly gets what is important to so many triathletes and does an exceptional job. Huge kudos to him and his staff for a job well done.
