Up for sale is a pair of Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR wheels (700c, clinchers, Shimano/SRAM 9/10/11-speed compatible). They feature Exalith brake tracks, deep-profile carbon fairing, and bladed carbon spokes. A bit heavier and less aero than Zipp 404s, the benchmark for this rim depth category, but far superior braking (both dry and especially wet) and sturdier construction - bombproof, can be raced and trained on daily. They are barely ridden (under 50mi) and spotless: true, round, perfect bearings, decals without a scratch, one tiny (<1mm) nick on the rear rim edge from transportation (couldn't get it to show up in pics), cosmetically or functionally flawless otherwise - practically new. Purchased by my team new in late 2013 under a sponsorship deal, served as time-trial spares, basically never left the gear room.

The wheels come with all their original Mavic factory accessories: Yksion tires, skewers, and Exalith brake pads (6 pcs total, i.e. enough for 1 bicycle plus two spare). The accessories have the same mileage as the wheels, i.e. basically new.
