Great ideas - I think the carbon zipper is IT.... for now. The Sidi wire rear mech + zipper may be the best.

Air bladder adds heat for the summer. Underside aero: Speedolay is really the best option there. Tony Purnell tested a bunch of Simmons prototypes for the British team and found there to be very little gains with underside aero... and again, Speedolay aero clear is too easy.
