I guess I'm a bit late in terms of booking a place to stay for next year's IMLP. My family has 3 adults and 3 small kids (3-9). Would like to book a cottage/camp nearby. What are the locations relatively affoable and still convenient enough to get to Lake Placid, especially on race day.

The town of Lake Placid seems to be fully booked already (and very expensive too). Would places like Saranac Lake, Keene or Jay be okay for the race?

Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
