Not the same neighborhood but I had inguinal hernia surgery on 6/16. Four-plus months later I'm still experiencing discomfort. Not the same kind of pain as before surgery, feels different and in a different location. I think "returning to normal activity" is a statement not intended for triathletes. What's normal for me is not normal for Joe Schmoe.
