- choose a sighting object on the horizon shore.
- swim towards it doing the following:
- sight every 3 or 4 strokes
- incease the increment of sighting by one stroke until you can hold a straight line.
- That stroke count is our base sighting count.
- Swim by sighting on your base stoke count.
