I have done a lot of work with the PT department at TWU in Houston, the head of the department and another member of the faculty are very close colleagues who I've worked with on several projects. The huge majority of their students are recent BS kinesiology/exercise phys graduates. My wife's cousin also just started her DPT at UNLV and she isn't exactly a great student. Getting into PT school isn't all that competitive, jobs may be a different story (I have no clue).
