8-day in advance forecasts aren't worth beans, but at this point, the latest from the NWS:

Models are also indicating another weekend storm for the end of the month. We shall see.

Again, way too early to be accurate. Water temp here in San Clemente is 58 as of right now (was 55 just this morning!). Another storm coming Sunday, so we'll
see how long the wind blows from the NW after this storm. That could drop the water temp again!

Yeah I did not want to use the R word but I did see the long range forecast.
I'm taking a group down on Sunday to preview the first part of the bike course....and I know it's going to rain but they want to go anyway.
Let's hope the wind stays down.
