1. Why is "Gay" an insult?? What does it mean???

2. What is up with this "Metrosexual" thing -- I have a homosexual co-worker, my wife has a guy in her office who is a Homosexual. Both these "guys" are way more Manly and masculaine then these "metrosexual" guys who are heterosexual (they have girlfriends) I see at the gym. I mean - these guys are out of control in thier femine ways, fixing thier hair and acting like teenage girls.

3. What do women see in these "Metrosexual" males ?? Like I said, these guys had girlfriends, what do women see in them??

4. I am serious when I say - I do not understand what you mean by "Gayer" -- what does that mean??



side note: I just asked the gay coworker what kind of cars do gay men like -- He said Corvettes. I then asked him why he Drives a Ford F150? He said he is restoring his 1969 Vette.

All this time I thought avg 20 for 112 on a 650 Rocket Wing with Spinnergy Rev X was OK. Come to find out it's gay? Guess I'd rather be sorta fast than kinda phobic.

Hot. I would wear that in a heartbeat. I just remembered that this theread has a intersting cinematic connection (not Brokeback Mtn). In 1998 Softride sponsored a quirky little film called "The Unknown Cyclist". It starred Lea Thompson, Danny Nucci and Michael J. Pollard in a cameo. The story is about a Bay Area cyclist who dies of aids and his tough twin brother comes out from NY to take care of business. While there he meets his brothers friends and in the will it is stated that they must all ride a fund raiser for aids from SF to LA. So they do and Danny Nucci rides a Softride with great skill and style (even if his character is bi), There is even a crash. It's a fun little story with some great gag scenes and beautiful backdrop, much of it on the course of the ToC. I have wateched it three times over the years when you need ANY connection to riding outdoors while in the trainer. I rate it number three behind Breaking Away and American Flyers as "B" spin flicks. Was thinking that it could be this marketing strategy and product placement that had a little to do with the thread. Maybe, maybe not.
