Blowback Commences in the US? Pipe Bomb Allegedly Found Near Coronado Bridge

Coronado's where the amphib base is located, and where the SEAL training school (BUD/S) and several SEAL teams are headquartered. News nets are just now reporting on it. Could be hype on the part of the news folks, but we'll have to see as more intel is developed.

Hey...start small and go from there, wot? Eh, I think these fellows would believe it's smarter to just retaliate quickly rather than effectively, for starters. No surprise there. Or it could be some kids who think they're be smarmy-cool or something, or it could be nothing but "war hysteria," who knows at this point?

Looks like hysteria rules the day, at least on this one -- From NBC San Diego website:

The southbound lanes of the Coronado Bridge and Interstate 5 were shut down Monday morning after police found a pipe bomb just north of the on-ramp to the bridge.
The one-foot pipe was found on the southbound shoulder of I-5 just after 8:30 a.m., said San Diego Police Department Lt. Hassen. The MAST team was brought in to detonate the device.
After a closer look, investigators said the device did not contain explosives and may have fallen off of a passing vehicle.
CHP re-opened southbound lanes of traffic just before 10 a.m.
