Im competing in the World Duathlon Champs in Nancy on 16 September. Id like to go cycling for 2 weeks after. Does anyone have any suggestions re a tour or accomodation that specialises in cycling hoildays/training.

My new wife and I just did a honeymoon cycling trip that followed the Tour de France. The tour company we used was Custom Getaways (customgetaways.com, I think). We were very impressed with how well organized and well-run the tour was.

Catch the TGV down to Grenoble and stay in the Alps. It will be awesome.

Not sure if you're still checking this thread but after living in Grenoble for the better part of 4 years and exploring the region (and most of France) I can't recommend Grenoble and it's surrounding area enough. Check out http://www.grenoblecycling.com/, I know the site owner quite well and most of my mates many of whom I still keep in touch with were found through there. It's a very comprehensive look at the region.
